DODGERS SIGN POLLOCK: HARPER STAKES DOWN TO PHILS AND NATS

By Sam Bush

The Dodgers today signed free agent center fielder A. J. Pollock, leave the Bryce Harper sweepstakes to the Phillies and Nationals.

Pollock, among the top free-agent outfielders, has agreed to a deal pending a physical with the Dodgers. The terms of the contract were not yet known.

This likely takes the Dodgers out of the Harper auction, taking the suitors down (at least for now) to the Nationals and Phillies.
