ALL TEASING ASIDE, NATS BRING BACK SERIES CLOSER HUDSON

By Sally Fahey

The World Series champ Nats are such a tease!

After looking like they would go into 2020 without him, they and reliever Daniel Hudson have agreed on a two-year deal, reuniting the club with the man who closed out the World Series for them in 2019.

Hudson has agreed to a deal valued as high as $12 million, with an $11 million base and an additional $1 million in performance bonuses related to games finished. The news was first reported by Jeff Passan of ESPN.

He made three appearances (4 IP) in the World Series and recorded the final three outs against the Astros in Game 7, securing the championship for the Nationals.
