By Lewis Gould

ABC7 Sports Anchor Scott Abraham is reporting that the Citi Open tennis tournament, which is held at 16th and Kennedy, will in fact be played later this summer, making it the first ATP tournament in the world since February.

At least for the time being, the plan is to have the tournament without any fans in attendance.

The tournament will start on August 1. An official announcement is expected later this week.
