SOBER SECOND THOUGHT: WFT’S CHASE YOUNG WILL FACE EAGLES JASON PETERS!

By Harvey Hoffman

Well, that didn’t take long.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson announced at yesterday’s presser that Jason Peters will start at his old position of left tackle next Sunday in Washington.

And that the decision was made when Peters came into his office that morning to tell him he would move from right guard back to his natural position of left tackle.

Pederson would not commit to Matt Pryor as the starting right guard, but that is the likely move now with Peters at left tackle.

Peters’ decision comes after a week of debate on whether the Eagles should pay Peters more money to move to left tackle, as he reportedly wanted, or keep him at right guard.
