HERE’S HOW CAPS DECIDED TO DRAFT HENDRIX LAPIERRE!

The Athletic gave the Caps a B- for their draft:

Washington took a real swing at Hendrix Lapierre at 22.

That pick has risk for a variety of reasons, but he has a lot of skill and could become a good NHL player.

The Capitals didn’t pick again until 117, but Bogdan Trineyev, Bear Hughes and Oskar Magnusson have skill.
