Ryan Kerrigan, WFT’s all-time leader with 94 career sacks, wasn’t traded and is under contract for nine more games.
He has been relegated to sub packages for the first time in his 10-year career and playing just 36% of the defense’s snaps.
Apparently Kerrigan was too valuable to offload given new coach Ron Rivera’s belief that this team could yet win the NFC East, which is within the realm of possibility.
