WHY WON’T NFL FESS UP ON ITS DANIEL SNYDER REPORT? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

Asks the Washington Post’s editorial:

For the past eight months, the team and its owner, Daniel Snyder, have been the subjects of an investigation by an outside law firm. Mr. Snyder hired Washington attorney Beth Wilkinson in July 2020 after a damning report by The Post detailing allegations by 15 former female employees of the team and two female sports reporters that they were sexually harassed and subjected to verbal abuse from male executives. The NFL took over the investigation in August after another alarming report from The Post revealed how the team’s broadcast department secretly produced tawdry videos of outtakes of a cheerleader photo shoot, allegedly for the enjoyment of Mr. Snyder and other male executives.

On Friday, D.C.-area radio personalities the Sports Junkies, of 106.7 the Fan, reported they had obtained documents related to Ms. Wilkinson’s investigation. Mr. Snyder, owner of the team since 1999, appears to be directly in the crosshairs. Among the proposed options: that the NFL force Mr. Snyder to sell his interest in the team or that the league suspend him for a “significant period to allow time to repair its infrastructure and culture.” The NFL said it has not yet received the report.
