The NFL draft is April 19, and WFT needs to add at eft tackle, free safety and linebacker.
Not to mention quarterback after releasing 2019 first-rounder Dwayne Haskins last year.
But it’s likely picking too far out in the first round to get one of the top passers in this draft.
Besides, what’s the rush?
Washington could be the favorite to win the NFC East this year with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center.
Still, it needs a legit left tackle to protect Fitz. On defense, Washington will have to fill holes at linebacker and free safety if it truly wants to be elite on that side of the ball.
