Spencer Dinwiddie has agreed with the Wizards on a three-year, $62 million contract via sign-and-trade with the Nets, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Wizards are sending a 2024 second-round pick and a 2025 pick swap to Brooklyn for Dinwiddie.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the sign-and-trade will include a total of five teams, and that Washington is sending Chandler Hutchinson and a 2022 second-round pick to San Antonio in the multi-team deal.
In addition, the Indiana-Lakers draft night trades with Wizards will be folded in as well. Dinwiddie, who averaged 20.6 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game in 2019-20, will form a very imposing and fantasy-friendly backcourt alongside Bradley Beal.
The deal will involve five total teams.
