The 31-year-old Robert Griffin III last played with the the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL season, appearing in four games and coming up with just 42 passing yards, zero touchdowns, and a pair of interceptions on 8-of-14 completions.
He made the Pro Bowl for the Redskins in 2012 and was chosen offensive player of the year.
But injuries wrecked his chances for greater success.
Veteran free agent QB and budding broadcasting talent Robert Griffin III is headed to ESPN, source said. He still wants to play and has an out in his contract if opportunity arises. But he’s a broadcaster now with a very high ceiling.
