WILL WFT WR CURTIS SAMUEL BE HEALTHY ENOUGH TO PLAY IN 2021?

By Max Harper

WFT coach Ron Rivera said he’s “pretty optimistic” WR Curtis Samuel (groin, COVID) will practice “sometime next week.”

After opening camp on the PUP list, Samuel was added to the COVID list July 29.

He was activated from that 10 days later and was removed from the PUP list August 15, but Samuel is still dealing with some issues.

He will also miss the preseason finale.

It sounds like Samuel will be ready for the season opener, but who knows what his chemistry will be like with Ryan Fitzpatrick or what his playing time will be.
