Wiz guard Bradley Beal says he wants to take and make more 3-pointers in the 2021-22 season.
Beal shot below 35% from downtown for the first time in his career last season. And he knocked down just 2.2 treys per game, his lowest average since 2015-16.
Beal told NBCSports.com that he has focused on expanding his range during workouts this summer.
“I’m not trying to compete with Dame [Lillard]; I’m not Logo Lillard. But I want to shoot deeper threes and shoot more threes,” Beal said. “You know I need to shoot more threes. You probably say it all the time. And, obviously, make them. I have to make them.”
