Juan Soto hit 19 home runs in the final round to beat Julio Rodríguez in the finals of the 2022 All-Star Game Home Run Derby.
Rodríguez stole the show at Dodger Stadium in Rounds 1 and 2, hitting a whopping 32 and 31 home runs, respectively.
He put forth a valiant effort in the finals, as well, with 18 bombs (in one less minute), but Soto got hot late in his initial round before topping Rodríguez during his bonus time to take home the crown.
It’s the first Home Run Derby title for Soto, who lost to eventual champ Pete Alonso in 2021.
