COMMANDERS DESPERATE AT CB, SIGN MICHAEL DAVIS

By Mike Bennett

The Commanders are signing CB Michael Davis, who has spent the first seven years of his career with the Chargers.

The former UDFA allowed an abysmal 61 receptions for 788 yards and nine touchdowns on 93 targets last season, but the Commanders will hope he still provides an upgrade to a secondary that was among the worst in the league last year.

The bar is low, so as a temporary fix, Davis may be worth the risk.
